Carers Trust Tyne & Wear Crossroads Carer Services is an independent local charity supporting carers and their families. As a specialist provider of carer services, our aim is to improve the lives of carers.
The Charity has grown and developed since 1990 to provide a wide range of holistic services which meet individual need and deliver positive outcomes to carers and their families. Since relocating to the west of Gateshead, The Old School Care Centre has grown into a unique community resource from which we deliver a wide range of services for all age groups and disabilities both in the community and within our extended care centre environment.
We keep carers at the very heart of our services which are delivered In line with national strategy and local priorities. Our key partners who fund our services include Gateshead Council, Gateshead Clinical Commissioning Group, Big Lottery and other grant making bodies.
We also rely on voluntary donations to sustain our work, which is why your support is so invaluable and really does make a difference in enabling us to grow our services.
We are a Network Partner of Carers Trust and part of a unique network. Together we are united by a shared vision for carers – to make sure that quality assured information, advice and practical support are available to all carers across the UK.
