Carers Trust Tyne & Wear is situated 9 miles west of central Gateshead and is easily accessible by car, bus, cycle or on foot. You will find The Old School Care Centre at the top of the hill in Highfield, directly on Smailes Lane (B6315) which is 1 mile from Rowlands Gill village.

By Foot / Bicycle

Why not take the greener, healthy option and walk or cycle to our office. We have secure bicycle storage available.

By Bus

The Number 47 runs every 30 mins from Newcastle Eldon Square or Gateshead Metro Centre Interchange and stops directly outside our office.

By Car

From Gateshead/Newcastle following the A692 ( via Lobley Hill and Burnopfield) or the A1/A694 (via Swalwell and Winlaton Mill) until you reach Rowlands Gill and then turn up the hill onto the B6315. The Centre car park has 10 parking bays and 2 disabled car parking bays adjacent to the accessible side entrance.
