Fundraise for the Carers Trust
Your fundraising support empowers us to provide a wide range of caring services in the community.
Every penny makes a powerful difference
Carers Trust Tyne & Wear relies on fundraising to empower carers across the region. These everyday heroes dedicate themselves to loved ones who need assistance, but often neglect their own well-being.
Your contribution, big or small, allows Carers Trust to provide vital support. This includes respite care, offering carers a much-needed break. It also means practical advice and emotional support.
By fundraising, you directly impact countless carers. You help them maintain a healthy balance, avoid burnout, and continue providing exceptional care. Every penny makes a real difference in the lives of carers and those they love.
Consider fundraising to support Carers Trust Tyne & Wear today. You’ll be investing in a stronger, more resilient caregiving community.
Ways to fundraise
There are loads of ways that you or your team can make a big difference for carers. Even a simple idea can be effective if you’ve got the support of friends, family, colleagues or your community.
The most important thing is to make sure you have fun!
Here’s some ideas you could try
- Organise a coffee morning or bake sale at your school, office or a community venue. Yummy food and a nice bit of chat.
- Get together with some colleagues for a sponsored ‘walk to work’. You’re going to work anyway. Why not get some exercise too?
- Organise a swim with your local pool and ask friends to sponsor you for every length you complete. Get a few a friends together and you might be able to swim the length of the Tyne!
- Do a sponsored cycle, row or run using the equipment at your gym. Or combine it with a swim and do a virtual triathlon!
- Contact a local flying school and do a sponsored skydive. It can’t be that scary really, can it?
- Speak to a tutor at school or college about running a non-uniform day or sponsored silence. They’d especially appreciate the sponsored silence.
- Get together with some friends to do a sponsored litter pick in your local area. Raise money, clean up your community and help the environment.
